My Story

Hello there. I'm 40 and a native Los Angeleno. As a gay man who is on the high-functioning autism spectrum, I certainly have had to learn to adapt to a peculiar world. I have a soft spot for different-ness.

My own struggles with anxiety led me to study the subject academically, along with neuroplasticity, in grad school. I received an M.A. from Goddard College in VT. Before that I did an undergrad at Wesleyan University in CT. I also have a health coaching certificate from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition.

Somewhere along the way I stumbled upon improv comedy in 2006 and never looked back. It's such a strange and wild craft, and I regularly find the connections between improv and the curveballs of life.

I truly believe that regardless of where you are in life, it's never too late to heal and find more joy!
